Three times a year, all KERN locations from the D-A-CH region come together. During these two very dense conference days, we work out the best tools and procedures for all processes related to company succession.

The main topics then determine the further training and qualification for the sale of the company, the generation change within the family or the company acquisition.

In June of this year, a 'colleague' from our official cooperation partner, the German Chamber of Foreign Trade in Warsaw, was also a guest and enriched us with the special features of the Polish M&A market.

One focus at the summer conference was the possible development of the value of companies before a sale. It is not uncommon for us as experts to come to the point in initial discussions with entrepreneurs where a sale would currently make little sense or cannot even be described as realistic.

And it is precisely at this point that we can examine business models with experienced specialists from our network and prepare them for future increases in value. We prepare a whole range of KERN customers in this way for later sale. For the benefit of the company, its employees and for a secure transfer in the intended sale. For this important value development, an average of a good 3 years should help as preparation to scale the business model, make it more profitable, establish management levels or even build monopoly structures in the market.
